[Fhsst-authors] Update

Hi everyone,

I had a chat to Prof. Ken Rochford in Education here at UCT. He would like
to help but is really busy until the end of October. He suggested that he
could get his students to help out a bit.

What he proposes is making a criticism of one of our chapters a compulsory
exercise for his class - which makes sure we don't stray too far.
Unfortunately there were only two options for us, electostatics etc. this
week thursday or the atom next week.

After an emergency meeting Rory, Spencer and Sarah are going to help get
electrostatics ready for this thursday. So hopefully we'll get some decent
constructive feedback soon.

The other places where physics is currently almost non-existant are
rectilinear motion and waves (optics too but I don't think its in the
syllabus any more).

Thats all folks - I'll let you know how the crit goes!

Cheers,

Mark Horner
