Hi all

Things are going very well.

1) Brett Cocks delivered the entire Redox. Reactions chapter today!
We'll convert it to latex during the week.

2) Prof. Cleymans is donating us a motherboard which will soon
turn into a dedicated webserver for FHSST. Savannah don't allow
us to run a database or php off their server and we'll need one
eventually so we are being proactive :) If anyone has a ATX box in
Cape Town that they could donate that would be cool. Otherwise
we'll have to buy one - got a hard drive somewhere.

3) I made a new pstricks command - its draws a compass - so we don't
need to draw arrows ourselves. To use it just do
   \pscompass{1cm}{1cm}
The first number is the x-coord of the centre of the compass.
The second number is the y-coord of the centre of the compass.
To see an example have a look at the vectors chapter - 3rd worked
   example.

NB - you must put the cm in - can't just write numbers.

Hope everyone is well - sorry we haven't sent the proposal yet - time just disappears. The proposal WILL be submitted on Thursday this week so it will come tomorrow or Wednesday. This means thats those deadlines we've never been making must start happening ;)

Take care

Mark
