FHSST-Maths: Introduction

Hello everyone,

Just a short note to introduce myself, as I am a new member of the group. I live in Cambridgeshire, England and after taking a degree in maths have worked for over 25 years in IT in industry. So I am not an academic, but I enjoy recreational mathematics as an amateur.

I believe that the book we are creating is written in something called LaTeX. As I know nothing about it, can anyone recommend a good book to help me learn LaTeX?
