Yes, jack was made the default audio driver for qsynth. However you can
override this setting, and any other for that matter, from the command
line ;)

Qsynth's command line is almost, but not perfectly :) compatible with
fluidsynth's. The main feature is that any settings you give as a command
line argument will persist and will not be needed to be specified on later

For example, to switch to native ALSA driver you'll have to enter the
following command line:

    qsynth -a alsa

and that's it from then on.

To get back to jack, just enter any one time:

    qsynth -a jack

Of course, while qsynth is up and running you can always use the setup
dialog to switch settings at will. If anything goes wrong, you still have
the command line to the rescue :)

    qsynth --help
