Hi Pedro and David,

I'm not sure whether the PulseAudio ALSA plugin is installed, it's a standard Ubuntu 10.10 installation. Neither "asound-pulse.conf" nor "asound.conf" are present.

Note that I'm not using Jack personally. I'm investigating the issue for users of jOrgan, who use different setups.

I'll try to follow the discussion on the mentioned mailing lists.

There was a report recently on the alsa-devel and pulseaudio-discuss

with the pulse plugin). Perhaps this is the same bug or a related one.

The question is if Sven has the PulseAudio ALSA plugin installed and activated
at the same time he is running Jack.
