Well, seeing as you asked so nicely, it only performs the substitutions on lines beginning with "diff."

I concede that it's incomplete.  It should probably be (assuming GNU sed):

    sed -r '/^((---)|(\+\+\+)|(diff))/s/\\/\//g'
