Dear friend,
I see that GNU Fontutils is looking for a maintainer [0].
I have used a number of these utilities before when preparing various bits of
sheet music (I am a keen amateur cellist). For example, I needed to convert
various bitmap MusiXTeX glyphs to their outline counterparts as well as
various other situations.
The latest version of Fontutils does not compile on versions of GCC >= 3, but
I have already ported the vast majority of it. Hopefully, I could make a
release (if maintainership is stll available, naturally) as soon as possible.
Migration to GPLv3 would be another avenue to explore.
I am currently a student at the University of Warwick, England, and am
currently involved a lot with the Debian GNU/Linux project. I am the projects
officer of our local GNU/Linux user group.
Regards,
Chris
