Hi all,
I'm a newcomer and have not found an answer to my question.
Why is the output of ipmi-sel not complete?
We want to use this to decide if status is critical or not.
ipmi-sel
========
ID | Date | Time | Name | Type |
Event
1 | Apr-07-2009 | 11:59:17 | SEL | Event Logging Disabled |
Log Area Reset/Cleared
2 | Jun-04-2009 | 13:02:41 | Status | Power Supply |
Power Supply Failure detected
3 | Jun-04-2009 | 13:02:42 | Status | Power Supply |
Power Supply input lost (AC/DC)
4 | Jun-04-2009 | 13:02:42 | PS Redundancy | Power Supply |
Redundancy Lost
5 | Jun-04-2009 | 15:09:32 | PS Redundancy | Power Supply |
Fully Redundant

Power Supply Failure detected
7 | Jun-04-2009 | 15:09:37 | Status | Power Supply |
Power Supply input lost (AC/DC)
With ipmitool it is possible to see, that the "Power Supply" problem is
deasserted.
ipmitool sel list
