Hello,

I have just added some new files to the source FT2 directory in
order to build the library with the "Jam" tool. Shortly, Jam is
a make replacement that is small and powerful, and allows the same
kind of things that our build system, in a much easier way..

  For more information, please see:

      http://www.freetype.org/jam/index.html
      http://www.perforce.com/jam/jam.html

Note that you'll need a modified version of Jam to compile the
sources. I've made a few updates to the Jam sources in order to
support our #include MACRO_H scheme, more compilers, etc..

  It is available:

A - as the "jam" module on the FreeType CVS server

B - from the ftp site:

   ftp://ftp.freetype.org/pub/contrib/jam/jam-src.zip (sources - CR/LF
format)
   ftp://ftp.freetype.org/pub/contrib/jam/jam-win.zip (Windows exe)
   ftp://ftp.freetype.org/pub/contrib/jam/jam-os2.zip (OS/2 exe)

Note that my goal is to get rid of GNU Make and our clumsy
build system built on top of it, though this will be done
  progressively :-)

Regards,

- David
