Hello Freetype developers,
I upgraded to Freetype 2.1.3-RC1 (Aug.28 snapshot), and found that ftview
crashes on opneing some OpenType font:
Please check this font:
http://freetype.newmail.ru/misc/DutchNew.zip
Archive has OpenType (OTF), TrueType, and PS Type1 font, together with
PfaEdit's .SFD source file.
ftview displays o.k. TTF and PFB versions, but segfaults on OTF.
address@hidden Work]$ ftview -r 100 12 DutchNew.otf
available pixmap formats
depth pixbits scanpad
1 1 32
4 8 32
8 8 32
15 16 32
16 16 32
24 32 32
> RGB ff0000:ff00:00ff, colors 256, bits 8 TrueColor
32 32 32
Segmentation fault
(DutchNew.otf was produced withPfaEdit from Sep.2, DutchNew-0909.otf - with
version of PfaEdit from Sep.8; they are slightly different versions of the
same font)
IIRC FreeType 2.0.9 was able to render those OTF files.
OTF files themself are ok, PfaEdit can open exported files without any
problems. Adobe's ATM 4.1 under Windows opens those OTF files, too.
So I beleive problem is in FtView program, not in those fonts.
