The problem is that we don't have direct access to the current
machine hosting www.freetype.org anymore. And its sysadmin seems
to be too budy to update the site (I've already sent him the
changes several times, with numerous phone calls, but to no
effect :-( )

Very fortunately, we directly control the DNS servers and
have started migrating the web site to freedesktop.org,
with Keith Packard's permission. See:

  http://freetype.freedesktop.org

once the DNS move is completed, we should be able to easily
update all web pages.
