I was hoping i had given just enough information to cause just enough curiosity 
to make you do your own tests & screenshots ;)
On closer inspection it is the 'G' option that gave the only 'different' 
rendering i saw, and it's not overall better anyway. But, note  the 'G' 
renderings below lack some of the 'brokeness' on horizontal curves. On the 
negative side the same curves under 'G' tend to fatten up too much. :-/
