Heh. So I found the culprit behind the changed advance widths. In TT_Hint_Glyph, the phantom points that may have been modified by bytecode were saved back to loader->pp*. Only do that outside backwards compatibility mode now.

@Werner: are there any tests or fonts that use a vertical layout? Should the TT_LOADER_SET_PP macro defined under TT_CONFIG_OPTION_SUBPIXEL_HINTING be the default?
