Hi,
I gave a talk to the Cidade Technologica in Porto about the
new law proposal for Free Software in the Public Administration that
ANSOL is pushing with the lefties
(http://www.ansol.org/docs/projecto-lei.pt.html). I also gave a short
interview to the portugese television (no idea which channel).
Proprietary software already reacted to the law proposal
http://www.softwarechoice.org/track_key_procur_policy.asp
If you get an opportunity to read/comment/translate/advertise
the law proposal, don't hesitate. It's pretty short in itself. IMHO
the "exceptions" need to be considered with great attention. If the
law is voted, noone wants portugal to be plagued with a word wrongly
interpreted.
Cheers from porto,
