There's also http://qmail.org/netqmail/ but I've no idea whether it
fixes this IMO-worst bug: those infuriatingly software-as-a-human
error messages, as spoofed in

Is there actually a GNU MTA? I think Exim is pretty good, but I have
Postfix and even Sendmail on some servers. I remember using smail and
nullmailer in the past, but didn't really get on with xmail.
