Hi!

I just committed the big junk that makes guile-gobject work with the
g-wrap as available with TLA via:

$ tla register-archive address@hidden
http://stud3.tuwien.ac.at/~e9926584/arch/2003-main
$ tla get address@hidden/g-wrap--rotty--0.2 g-wrap--rotty

The guile-gobject matching ths g-wrap is accessible via (assuming the
above register-archive action is already taken):

$ tla get address@hidden/guile-gtk--rotty--0.1 guile-gtk--rotty

I also have a working copy ready for merging this into the --cvstrunk
branch, in preparation to commiting to CVS. I won't do that however,
until I get positive feedback and my g-wrap modifications are in CVS
(or Andy tells me to do it anyway).

I now get ~3.6 seconds of loading time for (gnome gtk) with the above
referenced code, gcc 3.3.2 -O2 and Guile 1.7 on my Athlon 900. The
loading time is mostly spent in scm_add_method(), FWIW...

Regards, Andy
