OK, I've found out what the problem is. Apparently I've released g-wrap
1.9.12 with a bug in its .pc file (strangely it seems I've cut the
release at a point that is not corresponding to a peculiar bzr commit
:-O).

Can you try the tarball at [0]? It should fix this problem, along with a
few non-related issues. If this works for you, I'm going to push this
out as 1.9.13 soon.

That's because on Debian, ffi.h resides in a directory that's in the
compiler's default include path...
