The 'Methusalem' features are in firefox since long (with Download Statusbar
Addon) and i agree shared copy dialog could be useful especially for slow copy
tasks (mainly, remote or on slow USB.)
PolicyKit - does that allow for scaled authentication ? As it is, gksu works
well for root access. Personally, i prefer to setup sudoers to restrict root
access to certain commands, without having to type the password. After all
that's what OS X did since long and for good reason.
