Hi Uwe & all,

the autogen.sh script still wants libgnome-2.0 installed (Ubuntu 20.04):

checking for GLIB... yes
checking for GOBJECT... yes
checking for GMODULE... yes
checking for GTK... yes
checking for GNOME... no
configure: error: Package requirements (libgnome-2.0 >= 2.0.0) were not met:

No package 'libgnome-2.0' found

Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you
installed software in a non-standard prefix.

Alternatively, you may set the environment variables GNOME_CFLAGS
and GNOME_LIBS to avoid the need to call pkg-config.
See the pkg-config man page for more details.

What went wrong?

Kind regards

Stefan
