I found the solution for problem :-)
Correct permissions giving access for groups and users had additionally
to be set in:
/usr/local/share/pixmaps
/usr/local/share/glib-2.0
/usr/local/share/locale
After that, gnome commander starts up correctly. :-)
With this in mind, it will hopefully possible to create a working snap,
too! :-)
I will try this later.
