Follow-up Comment #2, bug #33240 (project geiser):

A quick note as to why i haven't tackled this one yet: highlighting of scheme
code is not under Geiser's control, we use Emacs' scheme-mode, so a proper fix
would probably belong there.  Also modifying the syntax table entry for
comments to make the semicolon a context-sensitive marker is not trivial and
could have a performance impact, so i'm wondering how often this funny syntax
is seen or used in practice.
