you should either customize geiser-active-implentations or use C-c C-s
to change the scheme. may i suggest that you read the full user manual?
there are many things like this explained there, and then more... you
can find it as info (C-h i) or online at http://geiser.nongnu.org. my
apologies if you already did.
unfortunately, not all of the features described there will be
implemented in MIT (e.g., MIT won't show the output in a Gdb buffer, as
you already discovered). with any luck, the implementor of MIT support
will be reading this and maybe she can help :)
