Lesson learned.

Next time, I suggest that whoever organizes a key-signing party
send mail individually to everyone listed as planning to attend, or
better still, make providing keys part of the registration procedure.

Then follow the process outlined here:

  How to organize (and participate in) a key-signing party

Which does not require everyone to exchange those pesky
little pieces of paper.
