Hello John,

if you have any additional important details for building gm2+gcc-8.2.0
feel free to email them to me as I've just updated the web page around
building 8.2.0 on debian stable.  The Solaris build info is currently
mentioning 4.7, so it would be good to bring this up to the current
stable release,
