I don't have the libdirectfb development libraries installed. Today after updating, autogen.sh'ing, configuring, and making gnash, gnash tried to link this library in anyways, even though configure should have realized it wasn't there. Make choked when it couldn't find it in the default location (/usr/lib/libdirectfb.la) place.
Interesting, because none of the configure tests look for libdirectfb. For one thing, I believe the directfb support in Mesa is depreciated. Has anything changed on your system ? One way to track this kind of thing down is to run configure with "sh -x", and then look in the output to see where this library comes from.
