  Interesting, because none of the configure tests look for 
libdirectfb. For one thing, I believe the directfb support in Mesa is 
depreciated. Has anything changed on your system ? One way to track this 
kind of thing down is to run configure with "sh -x", and then look in 
the output to see where this library comes from.
