I'm sure he can take care of it in a few weeks.

Rob is almost certainly at the Rainbow Gathering, incommunicado.
Either that, or he's in jail:

Curiously, there's a federal task force bent on wiping out the Rainbow
Gathering, which is a public gathering that happens in a different
remote national-forest area every July. Every year this "National
Incident Management Team" crawls out of Washington, propagandizes
among local cops and the public against the gathering, then does
illegal road checkpoints, searches, arrests, and such to prevent
people from peaceably assembling. They claim that a "permit" is
needed, and since nobody applied for one, nobody can come. (Some
years, like this one, they get a stooge to claim to represent all
20,000 people, then deny that person's application for a permit,
*then* claim that nobody has a permit.) Every year the Gathering
happens anyway. Food, shelter, water, sanitation, medical care,
communication, and entertainment for 20,000+ people are all provided,
by the Rainbow Family community itself. I've seen local rangers,
cops, and politicians visit and be amazed at how friendly everyone is
and how well it all works. (The task force leads locals to expect to
be inundated with 20,000 criminal gang members.) And every year,
after it's over, the wild, remote gathering site is left in an even
better state than it was in before the Rainbow people arrived, as
confirmed by local forest rangers afterward. All trash is collected
and removed; latrines filled in; trampled meadows re-seeded; etc.
Nevertheless the Federal Government persists in its harassment.

See: http://welcomehome.org for the Rainbows' side of the story.
