You know best how you can help, knowing your skills better then us :)
I suggest you start looking around, a good start might be the savannah
tasks list, or if you feel brave you could try to make your head around
the renderers. An important task (prolly not on savannah list) that needs
to be implemented before next release is AGG support for video.
Tomas can tell you more about it if youre interested.
