Ok. But I suppose that's used only for seeking in a progressively downloaded 
file from a website and not for seeking in 'real' streams streamed from a 
flash, cygnal, ffserver or vlc server.

Anyhow I hope I can soon have a build ready to run in mingw/msys to avoid too 
many noob questions :)

Can gnash be succesfully built on mingw/msys using static linking?
