  You are correct, I'm probably outnumbered on the OpenGL issue. Most
people will only be using Gnash for video, so it seems that the best
performance renderer is what's best. This is actually a moot point, as
we don't build binary releases, and each distro can decide to configure
in whatever renderer they prefer, but I know it'll be OpenGL, as all the
modern distros are now shipping Compiz or Beryl (GL based window
managers) as the default, so it seems GL is the preference.
