I am currently running Debian etch on a Pentium III 1.2 ghz laptop.

This is for the 0.8.3 release.

I recently compiled gnash with the following options:
--enable-media=ffmpeg --enable-renderer=agg --enable-kparts
--e\nable-nsapi --with-npapi-plugindir=/usr/lib/iceweasel/plugins/

All .swf's seem to play fine, but .flv's don't seem to play, this is the
same for the standalone player and for the plugin in firefox.

The output when trying to play a .flv w/gtk-gnash is:

21690] 08:11:50: DEBUG: gnash::media::sound_handler*
gnash::media::create_sound_handler_gst() enter

This was a flv downloaded from youtube. I get the same output for

The thing is, ffplay can play these .flv's, so I know that the proper
codecs must be in my libavcodec and libavformat

I got this same output when I compiled 0.8.2 with kde+gtk|agg|gst ... but
I later learned that my gstreamer-ffmpeg build was missing some codecs...
the same doesn't make sense when compiling with ffmpeg as the media since
ffplay can play these flv's just fine.
