Dear Gnash developers,
This is a feature request for the Gnash browser plugin. It would be nice if,
when
Gnash can't play a file due to unsupported opcodes or similar, it would display
text
on the lines of "Gnash can't play this file (http://foo.bar/file) because it
uses
the unsupported XXX and YYY and ZZZ Flash commands. You may wish to contact the
authors of the web page about this issue". - rather than just showing a black
window. It would increase the chances of pages on the web being made Gnash-
compatible, which would probably increase Gnash uptake (and the number of people
interested in contributing).
Regards and thanks for a great piece of software,
Michael
