and attempting to connect with gnatsweb, the error,

Return code: 417 - GNATS initialization of database failed: The directory 
/usr/local/com/gnatsdb does not exist for database default

The file /opt/gnats/etc/gnats/database states
default:Bug database:/opt/gnats/com/gnatsdb

mkdb etc all ran OK
