[Gnewsense-dev] dmesg : cups trouble under 2.6.24-24 generic & Suspicious buffer size 511 under libre 2.6.30.3

Hello,

All seems works correctly.
But when i make a dmesg in a Terminal a Suspicious buffer size 511
appears. (consider by the author "Dmitry Torokhov <address@hidden>" of the
patch, as a kernel crash).(the patch a no licence)
I'm under on the last free 2.6.30.3
I put the file and the patch in the past bin

I don't understand what i have to do to make it fit well.

I launch the last 2.6.24-24-generic the "Suspicious buffer size 511
don't appears.

But another trouble appear this time

So i launch the 2.6.24-23-generic and the same message appears

It seems that the bug appear on ubuntu 8.10 ... they don't said if it's
the same on jaunty).

But the hand sound potentiometer don't work under the kernel 2.6.24-24 &
23 and his line don't appear in the 2.6.30.3.
