I am real sorry for being vague with my response (sighs). I am very much aware that we have a installer[2]. I desire to install the new system from a USB disk, so what files should I download from here[2] in order to make my USB disk ready for installing the new system ?The debian's page[3] on setting up a USB stick suggests that, it is required to copy the "initrd.gz" and "vmlinuz" (in our case, it is "linux" (I guess)), apart from running the "syslinux" & mbr-install commands on the USB partition & the USB disk respectively, for making the USB ready for installing the new system. Period. I wish to know whether this procedure holds true for gNewSense 3.0 alpha installer ? If not, how do I get the USB ready for installing the new system ?
Instructions for the Debian installer should also work for the gNewSense installer. Use the initrd.gz and linux files from [2]. Have fun.
