I just found this e-mail on the gNewSense mailing list. I think 2.6.35
is available in the official repository, thus ath9k_htc driver is
supported. You would only need to upgrade to this version, make sure
ath9k_htc module is inserted and install the free firmware packaged by
Trisquel:
