That is because I didn't see any documentation of error codes. I would
love to have a "man" or "info" file with error codes or some indication
of how to interpret error's (he doesn't know gnokii)

I see so many people blaming the code and sometimes it could be hardware
related (In this case I don't have other hardware to test it on) so I
noted that I don't know which one code or hardware.

Quick question if error=4 is a timeout, is there a place I could extend
the time to live? 

In South Africa so every thing is slower here hehehe you should try and
