Hello folks,
I could get the Sony-Ericsson T68i to work with Gnokii 0.4.0pre20
My telephone is connected to my desktop computer through a built-in
infrared adapter (SIR, not IrDA, i think) (Motherboard : ABIT KT7A, with
infrared module on the IR connector)
##gnokii --identify
IMEI : 000000000000000 <- i changed this ;)
Manufacturer : ERICSSON
Model : 1130202-BVT68
Revision : R2B025 CXC125319
## gnokii --monitor
RFLevel: 27
Battery: 40
Power Source: battery
SIM: Used 80, Free 0
Phone: Used 510, Free 0
DC: Used 30, Free 0
MC: Used 30, Free 0
RC: Used 30, Free 0
RFLevel: 27
..
>From xGnokii, i could read the SIM and internal-phones' phonebook,
Battery status (but incorrect value), as waell as RF level.
More tests to come... i'll show them here :

Configuration and settings:
===========================
Gnokii 0.4.0pre20 from CVS (on 30/6/01)
<<<<<<<<<<<<<< BEGIN /etc/gnokiirc >>>>>>>>>
[global]
port = /dev/ircomm0
model = AT-HW
initlength = default
connection = serial
bindir = /usr/local/sbin/
use_locking = yes
serial_baudrate = 115200
serial_write_usleep = 100
handshake = software
# require_dcd = 1
<<<<<<<<<<<<<END /etc/gnokiirc>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
My Infrared configuration: (if your are curious)
-----------------------
I am using Debian Woody, kernel 2.4.18.
My ir adapter is "built-in" and is declared in the BIOS as COM2
(thus, it disables the "real" COM2 serial port).
It is known as /dev/ttyS1 by Linux
I have installed the following debian packages :
irda-common 0.9.14-17 IrDA management utilities
irda-tools 0.9.14-17 IrDA handling tools
I have the following lines in /etc/modules
irda
irtty
ircomm
<<<<<<<<<<< /etc/irda.conf >>>>>>>>>>>>>
#irda.conf Version: 1.0
IRDADEV=/dev/ttyS1
#DONGLE=
DISCOVERY=-s
ENABLE=yes
<<<<<<<<<<<<< END /etc/irda.conf >>>>>>>>>>>>>>
