Okay. There are Red Hat 8.0 gnokii packages in courtesy of Hugo Monteiro:

ftp://ftp.gnokii.org/pub/gnokii/binaries/RedHat/8.0/

You can find there rpms and srpms for pre5 and pre6 versions.
