It seems that this question was asked also in November 2002 on this
list, with no answers.

None of the current drivers in gnokii seem to list 5210 among their
supported models, so the easy answer is no. However, it is quite
probable that it could easily be made to work, perhaps by specifying a
related phone model in gnokiirc or at least by making some tweaks to an
existing driver.

It seems that the "rival" Gammu project supports the 5210. Perhaps
glancing at its code the 5210 could be made to work with gnokii too.
(Gammu was formerly known as MyGnokii2 and is based on an older version
of gnokii). Look it up on Google for more information.

If you have a 5210 and a data cable, why don't you try out whether
gnokii works or not? I take no responsibility, but the information could
be useful for the project...
