compiler error in sun sparc machine

hi all:
i'm using a sun sparc machine, sun4u & nokia 5110 for test, however,i got
problems compiling the source code, i have used the gcc compiler to
sucessfully compile some source code but not gnokii ,can anyone tell me what
i miss out prior to compile gnokii
in sun system ??

my h/w & s/w configuration
system= sun sparc machine, sun4u
os= solaris2.6 or 8 
h/phone= nokia 5110
c compiler installed= gcc version 2.95 sparc
