As I was formerly at Edinburgh, I can confirm that Ian Stuart is a
real person, and the address is valid. (I don't know if he reads this
list.) However, because our staff address book is by University
policy world readable and has been for many years, we have a chronic
spam problem.
All Edinburgh addresses are in 129.215.0.0/16.
