But D-BUS isn't equal to RPC. It gives an advantage over the RPC
asynchronous notifications about the events. So gnokii daemon can just
send the information to the bus about the incoming call and 13
different apps could do some actions, eg:
 - popup window to answer/cancel the call
 - addressbook summary of the contact appearing
 - calendar/todo/notes related to this contact appearing
 - ...
I don't think it is easily doable with RPC.

With D-BUS you don't need to care of all this endiannes shit.
