Daniele,
Thank you for the fast response,
My waitcall.c file is currently in
gnokii-0.6.16/gnokii-extras/snippets/monitor/ and will not compile
using 'gcc -Wall ....' due to this error: gcc: pkg-config --libs
gnokii: no such file or directory.
Should I place waitcall.c elsewhere?
Also, what is the best method to run and test your example code from
waitcall.readme?
Thanks in advance,
Anthony Porcelli

there is an example in gnokii-extras, written for gnokii 0.6.15 IIRC,
that
waits for an incoming call, prints the calling number then hangs up:
http://cvs.savannah.gnu.org/viewvc/gnokii-extras/snippets/monitor/waitc
all.c?root=gnokii&view=log
you need to replace the command GN_OP_CancelCall with GN_OP_AnswerCall
and you
can do that even if you aren't a programmer (just replace that string,
you
can change other things later if it works for you, but upgrade to
0.6.16)
