Duplicate SMS problem

Hi All,
I have tested smsd with both Nokia 6100 and 6820 with CA-42 (nokia original cable). SMSD recognizes both phones correctly, it is able to read the sms messages from the phones. the problem is that every message is read twice, first time smsd reads the message, saves it to MySql database, but it does not delete the sms after saving (or it tries, but it is not deleted). After this it reads the same SMS again, and the Duplicate SMS is printed to the log. At this second time the SMS is deleted.
I got it working by using usbserial driver (insmod usbserial vendor=0x0421 product=0x0802) with .gnokiirc settings:
model = 6510
port = /dev/ttyACM0
connection = serial
I would appreciate any kind of help.
Another thing: What is the most reliable configuration with these new models? I mean what phone and cable. The phone is always attached to the server and it is used to send and receive acknowledgements.
Best regards
