Given that (if I am not mistaken) for faxing you need just data
transmission - yes. But I'm not sure if anybody ever tested it.
However if you pick any phone manufactured after 2005 (maybe except
iPhone) it will give you this functionality ootb. No additional
software (like gnokiid) needed.
