If you want to do something with an incoming sms and have a bit of snappy response I suppose the only way is to poll mysql database every 15 second. It is not that difficult to do, but if there is not that many incoming sms messages then it seems to generate a bit of unnecessary polling.
Do you think it would be useful to have an option to be able to configure a script to be called after something was received?
