Proper inode-state-speedup support (supportr explicit tags, correct
updating after a replay/update) would be nice too, but since that's not
an interface change, I figure it can wait until 1.1.1 or whatever.

Actually I'd think that anything that isn't an _incompatible_ change (as
the various CLI syntax changes were) could similarly wait -- doing a
serious of post-1.1 minor releases to add various new extensions like
umask support seems like a reasonable thing to me.

[Of course the docs in 1.1 should obviously correspond to 1.1!]
