[Gnu-arch-users] [OT] Actual free software businesses?

Sorry for the OT post - just in relation to something Tom Lord said about
starting an arch consulting business - is anyone on here actually working
for a business or .org which makes money directly from developing, or
maintaining, free software? (Extremely-well-known companies like Red Hat
excepted :) ) If so, I'd love to chat with you about it off-list, having
had entrepreneurial thoughts in that direction recently.
