When a directory has been renamed and new files are added
- star-merge will create a new directory with the old name (but no id).
- update (by delta) will lose the arch-id files
- replay [revision] will create a new directory with the old name.
Changesets seem to lack the information required to correlate the old
directory name with the new one; new-files-archive does not contain the
ids of existing directories.
Theoretically, a three-way merge should be able to handle this case
properly, since the directory ids are the same in all three trees.
This was tested in a tree with tagline tagging.
