[Gnu-arch-users] [REJECT: merge-robertc-13]

I hate to be a pill about this but please bust this up into separate
merge requests. It's helpful to add a body to the requests, too,
unless what they do is utterly trivial (e.g., no need to explain error
message fixes but explaining why tree-lint needed repair would be
helpful).

(And, all this should get much easier quickly as we do things like
start driving bug goo from commit hooks plus magic strings in log
messages. Time to start writing better log messages than "-L"
encourages :-)

I think the fault lines are:

SHA1 support:

  patch-1
bring sha1 support forward from 1.2

get --link fix:

  patch-2
bring import tla get --link fix from abentley forward from
integration--1.2
  patch-4
bugfix: patch-2 missed a header inclusion in cmd-get.c

gcc fixes:

  patch-3
bring address@hidden/tla--gcc-warnings--1.2 merge from integration forward
  patch-5
bring abently's gcc fixes forward from integration--1.2

cachrev stuff (isn't this redundent with a separate merge request?)

  patch-6
merge archive mirror cacherev management support from integration--1.2

varargs stuff (or does this go under gcc fixes?)

  patch-7
      merge address@hidden/tla--va-args--1.2 fixes via --integration--1.2

error message fixes

  patch-8
merge error feedback improvements from address@hidden/tlasrc--errors--2
  patch-9
merge error feedback improvements & refactoring from
address@hidden/tlasrc--errors--3

???

  patch-10
      merge most of address@hidden/tlasrc--smallstuff--0

tree-ilnt fixes

  patch-11
    merge address@hidden/tlasrc--inventory--1 - tree-lint fixes for .id's &
directories, untagged-source unrecognized

A single integration branch is probably fine -- helpful even. But a
rule of thumb is to split up the merge requests into units that I
might want to individually merge or reject.

Thanks,

-t
